The Midlife Gal
Wellness Support for the Midlife Years
I’m a Naturopathy Practitioner with more than 18 years of self-directed study in health and wellness, followed by formal training and certification in naturopathy. My work is shaped by education, continued learning, and my own experience navigating gut health and hormonal changes in midlife.
Why This Work Matters to Me
My interest in natural health grew from personal experience. Like many women, I spent years feeling “off” in my body, dealing with persistent gut issues that went undiagnosed and later navigating the hormonal shifts of perimenopause. Even while doing many of the things that were supposed to help, I struggled to find clear answers or lasting relief.
Those experiences changed the way I looked at health. They deepened my understanding of how closely gut health, hormones, stress, sleep and overall well-being can be connected, especially during midlife.
Through naturopathic medicine, I learned to look at symptoms as signals rather than isolated problems. The goal is not simply to silence what the body is communicating, but to understand the bigger picture and look for the factors that may be contributing.
Today, I support women as they move through midlife changes by sharing science-informed, natural approaches that honor the body as an interconnected whole. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing education in naturopathy and evidence-informed natural health because women deserve guidance that is thoughtful, current and grounded in both science and lived experience.
About This Wellness Shop
This shop is an extension of The Midlife Gal. It brings together supplements and wellness products I’ve organized by topics such as gut health, hormones, sleep, digestion, mood and other areas that often become more important in midlife. The goal is to make it easier to browse, understand and research recommendations without having to sort through endless options on your own.
Professional Associations
My work is supported by continued study and involvement within the natural and holistic health community.
